dated decor

the entire hotel smells damp and old, absolutely not what i expected, and honestly woudl ve been lovely if it didn’t feel like a 40-year time hop! i attempted to ask for an upgrade, but apparently my request was too 'special' for them. i almost gave them a good review, but aside from that, it was a real disappointment.

I had a comfy stay. the cozy bed was perfect after a day of adventures. But the room had a musty smell, which was a bit off-putting. I'd stay again for sure!

i recently stayed at the phetpailin for one night before island hopping, and it was surprisingly good! the comfy bed made for a cozy evening after a lovely walk downhill into town. overall, it exceeded my expectations with its convenience and affordability.
